We at Governess understand the dedication and hard work involved when working with children. In-home childcare requires not only passion but tangible skills and appropriate knowledge. With this in mind Governess Connection has developed our Specialist in-home childcare course in order to ensure that our candidates are skilled and prepared to work with children.

This course is ideal for those who are looking to become childcare professionals or have an interest in working with children. The Specialist in-home childcare certificate provides our learners with the competitive edge. The course has been developed by experienced educators in the childcare field. Governess Connection has incorporated the needs of clients' throughout the years and focuses on improving the knowledge of current and potential childcare professionals.

Part time courses are held weekdays after hours or on weekends. Please refer to training calendar.

General Heath and Nutrition
Caring for a sick child
Discipline and Limit-setting
Safety and daily requirements
Dealing with children on a daily basis
Newborn to early teen care
Pediatric and Infant First Aid and CPR

Certificate issued on completion.

Course cost is R2570.00 (excluding V.A.T)
The course is fully inclusive of training, worksheets, assessments, Pediatric First Aid and CPR course.
